¡Ey Hivers!
Hey Hivers! I come to tell you about the climatic events in Venezuela.
On Monday night, June 27 of the present year, my grandmother approached me saying that the president gave a press conference announcing the arrival of a tropical cyclone, called BOINNE coming from the Atlantic basin that would impact the north of the country until reaching Mexico. (I think it also impacted Colombia) He also reported that due to global warming and the alteration of the poles, this phenomenon would have a greater impact, winds from 60 km / h to 86 km / h.
Pero aquí un detalle.
But here's a detail
In my country there has never been that type of natural phenomena other than electric rains or windstorms and people were scared when they did not know what the storm would be like. The president ordered the activation of all security and civil protection equipment, further upsetting the people, suspending classes and ordering that no one leave their homes.
This was really a shock because of what Maduro had said and there was nothing left to do but obey orders, my boss practically uploaded everything and protected it in case a flood or collapse of the structure occurred. Work activity suspended. The storm would arrive at 2 in the morning on Wednesday I tried to be calm and not get upset because it was not the solution and it was already enough with my 83-year-old grandmother who practically gave her something to see the weather news given by INAMEH (National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology)
He bought candles for the court that light that he was going to see and wait for everything to pass. I remember even setting the alarm at 1:50 A.M. to wait for the storm awake.
¡PEROOOO!
Buuuttt
Si, si, si pero.
Yes, yes, yes but.
No ocurrió nada.
nothing happened

what happened?
Well, BOINNE when hitting the low country of level up to two. Of course, not all states had this luck, those affected were: Merida, Sucre, La Guaira, Anzuategui, Nueva Esparta, Carabobo, Falcón and the Capital District (Caracas) that faced heavy rains and winds causing flooding and structural damage. In my opinion, Venezua is NOT a flat land, we are surrounded by many mountains and BOINNE could not make his own when he arrived. Also, the climate is tropical.
