If only I knew my creativity power was this great, by now I would have been a pro in the design industry. I had always thought I cannot play with colors and shapes to create a captivating graphic design until I was nominated to go for a one month skill acquisition program by my department. The program had so many impacts but what stood out for me was my ability to create beautiful designs using tools like canva.
In the third week of the program, the skill acquisition host had a birthday to celebrate and all the students were asked to create birthday designs to celebrate the man as one of our projects for the program using canva and I did mine. Please rate my creativity 😁

Have you ever doubted yourself.? How did you pull through.

Self-doubt refers to a lack of confidence or uncertainty about one's abilities, decisions, or worth. It can manifest as:
Negative self-talk
Fear of failure or making mistakes
Hesitation or indecision
Feeling inadequate or incompetent
Comparing oneself unfavorably to others

Self-doubt can hold you back from reaching your full potential, pursuing goals, and enjoying life. Recognizing and addressing self-doubt is crucial for personal growth and development.
Doubt is everywhere. People will question your dreams, underestimate your abilities, and even tell you that you can’t make it.

But here’s the truth: their doubts don’t define you, your belief in yourself does.

  1. Know Your Worth
Confidence starts from within. Stop waiting for validation. You are capable, talented, and worthy, regardless of what anyone else thinks.

  2. Silence the Negative Voices
Whether it’s self-doubt or external criticism, don’t let negativity control your mind. Replace I can’t with I will.

  3. Take Action, Even When You’re Scared
Confidence isn’t built by thinking, you build it by doing. Take that step, apply for that opportunity, start that project. Action breeds confidence.

  4. Learn from Failure, Don't Fear it
Every successful person has failed. The difference? They didn’t stop. See failure as a lesson, not a defeat.

  5. Surround Yourself with Growth-Minded People
Stay close to those who uplift and inspire you. The right people will push you to believe in yourself even when others don’t.

šŸ“ŒBuilding Confidence:

  1. Develop new skills
  2. Take calculated risks
  3. Practice positive affirmations
  4. Learn from failures
  5. Focus on progress, not perfection

šŸ“ŒMindset Shifts:

  1. From I'm not good enough to I'm capable and learning"
  2. From I'll never succeed to I'll try and learn
  3. From I'm a failure to I made a mistake, I'll improve

šŸ“ŒEmpowering Quotes:

  1. Believe you can and you're halfway there by Theodore Roosevelt
  2. Confidence is not that they will like me. Confidence is I'll be fine even if they don't.

In conclusion, overcoming self-doubt and building confidence is a journey that requires patience, self-awareness, and intentional effort. By recognizing negative thought patterns, practicing self-compassion, and focusing on strengths, you can break free from self-doubt's limitations.
Know this, You don’t need everyone to believe in you, you need YOU to believe in you. Keep pushing, keep growing, and watch how unstoppable you become.
