Smsdroid app is an open-source app that helps send our messages in offline mode. It very good and can act as a default messaging app for you devices.
But my suggestions are on the addition of the following features :
Addition of the recorder button
Addition of the camera button
Addition of broadcast message ability
Addition of templates section
Adding a proper format to show the inboxs outbox and sent messages
Proposal
My proposal goes thus:
Addition of the recorder button.
The recorder button would be added next to the send button.
The recorder button links you to your sound recorder were you could record the audio.
Addition of the camera button.
The camera button should be added next to the recorder button .
This button would link you to your device camera were you could take picture instantly and send as message.
Addition of the broadcast message ability
broadcast message is a feature that let's you send messages automatically to more than one person.
Right now on the app you get to send messages to only one person.
This feature should be made to be accessed with the following procedure :
Click on the drop down button ( the three dots on the top right part of the screen)
It would be seen broadcast message then you click it would link you to were you can add more than one person's.
Addition of the template section
Templates section
A template is an already made or prototype.
An SMS template is a ready-made SMS message that is used to send quick messages to someone. Like it is already made no need to come write the message again.
The template section would be accessed by clicking on the drop down bar (the three bottons symbol on the top right of the screen)
When clicked you get to see the quick messages.
Adding a proper format to show the inbox outbox and sent messages
Right now on the app its difficult to differentiate from the three. You can't see your outbox that's messages that couldnt be sent. so my proposal is on the addition of tabs once clicked would link you to each of them.

Benefits
For recorder.
you get to record audio directly and send to someone.
you get to send a record immediately and save the stress of scrolling through your file manager.
For camera.
you get to snap a picture immediately and send it directly to someone.
you get to share a picture immediately and save the stress of scrolling through your file manager.
For the broadcast message.
This feature is on all SMS apps but it's not here it a feature that is most needed cause at times we need to send a message to more than one person and with this feature we could solve this problem.
For templates.
It would help ease the stress of formatting a new message like on the template there could be I am busy which could be sent without writing a new message.
It can be used to save messages you know you need to be sending more often and easy the strength of preparing it over and over again.
It can be used as a guide to make a message.
It can be used as a medium to store a format of a message so as to not forget.
For message capacity
It helps show us the limit to which we can store messages.
It helps delete messages automatically if we reach the limit.
For the addition of the proper format of inbox outbox and sent messages
It would save us from being confused on the app.
It would beautify the interface of the app.
It would differentiate and put in place that outbox messages as well to the app.
