Then one of us found a small bunch of mushrooms, but they were poisonous Hypholoma fasciculare, so we left them and went on.	Потім хтось із нас знайшов невеличку купку грибів, але то були отруйні Hypholoma fasciculare, тому ми залишили їх і пішли далі.

A little later I came across a stump, which was almost completely covered with some species of fungi of the family Polyporaceae. They also stayed in the forest because these mushrooms are inedible.	Ще трохи згодом я натрапив на пеньок, який майже повністю був покритий якимось видом поліпорів. Вони також залишилися у лісі, бо ці гриби неїстівні.

A little later I came across a stump, which was almost completely covered with some species of fungi of the family Polyporaceae. They also stayed in the forest because these mushrooms are inedible.

Ще трохи згодом я натрапив на пеньок, який майже повністю був покритий якимось видом поліпорів. Вони також залишилися у лісі, бо ці гриби неїстівні.

After walking a little more on the forest road covered with fallen leaves, we finally came across edible mushrooms. On the trunk of the tree, close to the ground, grew young specimens of honey mushrooms (Armillaria mellea). Great find! These mushrooms were the main purpose of our journey.	Пройшовши ще трохи по вкритій опалим листям лісовій дорозі, ми нарешті натрапили на їстівні гриби. На стовбурі дерева, близько до землі, росли молоденькі екземпляри опеньків (Armillaria mellea). Чудова знахідка! Ці гриби були основною метою нашої мандрівки.

But these specimens of honey mushrooms, I personally think are too old for pickling and I take them because these mushrooms can be dried and used as a filling for various dishes or for mushroom soups.	А ось ці екземпляри опеньок особисто я вважаю занадто старими для маринування і беру їх тому, що ці гриби можна засушити і використовувати як начинку для різних страв або для грибних супів.

When the buckets are almost completely filled with mushrooms, walking in the woods is much more interesting 😉. And there is much more interesting!	Коли відра майже повністю заповнені грибами, ходити по лісу набагато цікавіше 😉. А там ще багато цікавого!
