Muy buenos días mi apreciada @aguamiel me he divertido con tu post, lástima que ya no puedo participar porque ya pasó el tiempo, sin embargo te puedo contar una anécdota algo parecida:

Años atrás trabajé para una mayorista de viajes y turismo en el Centro de Caracas, cerca de la Iglesia Santa Teresa había una zapatería que vendía calzado económico, un día cualquiera entré y vi unas hermosas botas negras que daban a la altura de la rodilla, con trenzas, ¡eran muy muy hermosas!

Al día siguiente me las coloqué y parecía un pinguino caminando, pero me adapté rápido.
Al otro día se le cayó la tapita del tacón y ahí mismo las mandé arreglar.
Al tercer día yo feliz con mis botas con tapitas nuevas, cosidas por si acaso, salgo de mi trabajo con mi compañero de labores, a eso de 5:30 casi 6:00 pm y tropecé con una chica...¿Sabes que vi ?

Esa "chica" estaba empezando a trabajar su horario vespertino - nocturno con el mismo modelo de botas que yo... su profesión... el mas antiguo del planeta.

Me disculpé por no haberla visto y me vió de arriba abajo, yo seguí mi camino y seguí usando mis botas hasta que no dieron mas jajajaj, no creas que me desmotivó jajajja!

Very good morning the dear @aguamiel I had fun with your post, too bad I can no longer participate because the time has passed, however, I can tell you an anecdote somewhat similar:

Years ago I worked for a travel and tourism wholesaler in the center of Caracas, near the Iglesia Santa Teresa there was a shoe store that sold cheap shoes, one day I entered and saw beautiful black boots that were at knee height, with braids, they were very very beautiful!

The next day I put them on and I looked like a penguin walking, but I adapted quickly.
The next day the heel cap fell off and I had them fixed right then and there.
On the third day, I was happy with my boots with new heel caps, sewn just in case, I left work with my co-worker, around 5:30 almost 6:00 pm and I bumped into a girl... **Do you know what saw?

That "girl" was starting to work her evening-night schedule with the same model of boots as me...her profession...the oldest on the planet.

I apologized for not seeing her and she looked me up and down, I went on my way and kept wearing my boots until they didn't give more hahaha, don't think it demotivated me hahaha!
