Today I'm going to share with you on how to exchange DEC to HIVE.
As a newbie playing the Splinterlands and new to crypto world, we ask so many questions, or we are so confused and we don't know how and where to start.
If you already bought a spellbook worth $10, and you signed up using Hive, you can start earning and get DEC by playing the rank battle/s, daily quest and by joining tournaments.
We all know that Splinterlands have own blockchain firm and this is the Hive.
Now, the question is how can I exchange my DEC to HIVE?
First, if you want to change your DEC to HIVE make sure you already transferred out some DEC from your splinterlands account.
Second, Go to hive engine and you need to log in using your account in Hive Keychain.
Once you logged in, your own dashboard will appear. (same in browser)
Like this:
Now you can see your different transactions or tokens saved in your Hive account.
Click the button on the right where you can sell your DEC and t will transfer to swipe hive.
Once you click it the Market Depth graph will appear:
At the bottom part you can see the buy and sell portion.
Since we want to change DEC to HIVE we will proceed to SELL portion.
Click the highest bid located at the bottom part and you can put how much DEC you want to change, click Sell DEC.
Confirm it in your hive keychain and it will transfer to swipe hive.
Now, going to your dashboard it will transfer to Swap.Hive, click the Withdraw button at the upper right part corner of the site.
If you want to withdraw it Max, just copy the current balance.
Note that once you withdraw or deposit some amount there's a 1% fee.
Click Withdraw HIVE, confirm it in your hive keychain, and wait for the process and notification. Once okay, refresh your browser and it will automatically add in your HIVE balance.
