Hello lovely Hivers and hello Ladies of Hive community. I hope we are all doing great today 馃尭
For today's blog I will be sharing you a few of my preloved clothes collection 馃尭
I started to like buying pre-loved clothes in 2008 when I went to Manila to study. I was new in city that time when my neighbor told me that there were a lot of preloved clothes in the market near us, and as a province girl, I didn't have any idea about what she said, but then my mother told me to go with our neighbors and look for some things that I could use for my school. My neighbor gave me different clothes and even bags, and I fitted them. I bought that shoulder bag for only $0.50 and a pair of skinny jeans for only $0.50 too. Since then, my love for pre-loved clothes has started.
There are a lot of pre-loved stores in the mall near us, and I love to hang out there to buy some skirts that I can use when I go to church. I usually go there after work and on the days that they are on sale. As long as you are good at shopping for clothes, you will find a quality item.
Why do I love to buy pre-loved clothes?
** First , it's cheap.** Imagine that you can buy a piece of clothing for the price of $0.50 compared to the mall where the price of the clothes costs a few amounts of dollars.
Second , it's unique. Yes , clothes from preloved stores are unique, and I found clothes there with good design and fabric also compared to buying clothes in my mall with the same designs. I remember when my office mate told me, "I love your skirt!" Where did you buy that? I answered her. My Aunt from Canada gave it to me and then laughed, but after a minute, I told her that it was from preloved store.
Some of my previously owned pre-loved clothing.
I bought this long sleeve in 2013, I think. I bought this one because of the design. Furthermore, I can use it when the weather is cold, and it looks so good when I partner some leggings with it like in the picture. This picture was taken when we did the hike in Mount Mamara, and I was wearing this outfit. Until now, his long sleeve is still here in my closet because I don't want to declutter it. I don't know why, but I still love it.
Preloved 3/4 shirt. I think I bought it for only $0.60. This shirt fits me very well, and if you see it, you will not think that I bought it as a preloved. Since I am a fan of preloved clothes, I learned how to pick good quality stuff at an affordable price.
I also bought pre-loved clothes online, but this time it's a person-to-person transaction. This kind of online selling became a trend nowadays.
I bought this pink jacket for only $5. It's a forever 21 brands and looks brand new. I used this in the office, and it's still here in my closet.
This bag is also preloved. I bought it for $11, and it's forever 21 brands. I felt so lucky when I bought this bag because it looks so good. I also bought my hiking sandals for only $4 pesos . It's an unbranded one, and I picked to buy it pre-loved because I will only use it once.
Pre-loved floral pink shoes. I bought this for only $6. It's an H&M brand and I super love it. My white top is also preloved. I bought it for only $1 I think.
This OOTD of mine too was preloved. I bought this sports bra for only $3 and the shorts are only $0.60. The brands are both bench and the owner of this looks so pretty.
A pre-loved dress too. I bought this for $2.50 because it was a new arrival at that time. I love the dress, that's why I bought it, but I don't usually buy when there's a new arrival because I'm thrifty.
Do you believe that this elegant pink dress only cost 0.60? Yes! I bought this for only $0.60. It's a Valentino brand dress, and until now I didn't want to declutter it, even though it doesn't fit me anymore.
What do I often do after buying pre-loved clothes?
Since we are not sure where those clothes came from , I always make sure to wash them thoroughly and also put some boiled water on them before I start to wear them.
These are the only few things I bought in pre-loved store. I have a lot more to share, but I will only choose this. I still enjoy buying pre-loved clothing.
Thank you for reading.
