Some time ago -2 months, to be precise-, I didn't think I would miss so much that place I liked to miss, where I ran away every time I had the chance or where I got scolded for not doing things. That place where I made both friends and enemies, and there is a stage in life where you don't think about what is right or wrong. You just want to live to the fullest and enjoy it, that is adolescence. I have finished a stage of my life to start a new one, and, although it is a good thing, it is also sad to say goodbye to the place and the people that made you feel so many things.

Today I woke up and a tear rolled down my cheek as I remembered moments of my life that will never come back; well, it is Monday and I will no longer have to wake up early and be pushed by my mother while she tells me that I cannot miss school, I will not wear the blue uniform that identified all of us pre-university students, nor will I go and greet the group of teachers who are always at the entrance; yes, the same ones who scolded me every now and then for being late or skipping class shifts. I will no longer enter the classroom, painted in light green and decorated with pictures of representative figures, as I did every morning and greet my classmates while asking them if there was any homework to do at the last minute -as we all did-, since that had become a habit.
I remember that day when we forgot the evaluation we were supposed to do at home and the teacher scolded us so much that we never again failed to do homework for the rest of the course in that subject because if we did, we would get double the next day. I would never forget the day we all decided to run away at the same time, -which earned us a trip to the principal's office the next day- because we are young and those things are what identify us. We weren't bad students, we were just doing the things you do at that age.

But what I miss the most is meeting my closest friends, those who are always there to do crazy things or to support me in the moments when I needed it. The ones that I would just tell them let's go and they would have their backpacks in their hands to go anywhere. Those that I always looked for at recess time to go have a snack in the cafeteria that was in front of the school, always full of people, some dressed in blue uniforms like us and others were workers who took advantage of their break time.
At the end of classes we used to go to the park and sit on the same bench as always, painted blue, with a tree behind that gave us a cool shade that made us want to stay all afternoon talking, and there was never lack of laughter at the silly things we did no matter how old we were.
Although I no longer think like I used to and I have new plans and perspectives, I will always remember and miss every moment I lived during this stage.
