Hello seriesaddicts. Here I am for another week to comment on a new episode of the seventh season of Billions. This is episode 9 of this season and as I always say, if you don't like spoilers, stop reading or you will regret it.
Very fun and exciting chapter. The end of the season is approaching and it shows. The scriptwriters begin to get their act together and stop wasting time. Although in this case they convolute the plot a little more if it is not convoluted enough.
After the Owl meeting, Chuck returned very worried but above all very determined to put an end to Mike or at least his chances of being elected president. But he realizes that he alone does not have the capabilities to achieve it even if he rigs the game a little. That's why he decides to lose help to his ex-wife. Wendy is willing but makes Chuck see that the rest of the gang doesn't trust him and won't help him. Luckily, good old Chuck comes up with the brilliant idea of putting a non-copyable pen drive in, does that exist? all of his multiple crimes, frauds and other traps that he has committed during all his years defending the law. I wonder if that's what prosecutors do. Well, I'm getting off topic. Chuck gives the pen drive to Wagner so that they can trust him and help him with the task. Now everyone rows together, we'll see if they reach a successful conclusion.
On the other hand, Kate realizes that something is up and talks to Scooter about it. It turns out that Scooter has set up a sophisticated surveillance system of dubious legality and they confirm that a mutiny is underway. They tell Mike, who orders a counterattack on the gang. The one they intend to tie up before firing her. While Mike believes that Axe is behind everything and goes on a trip to London.
That she would spend in London? Will the war between the two rivals return? Will the gang fight back or will they surrender?
Well we will see all that in the next chapter.
