Rice plants are one of the important agricultural commodities in many countries, including Indonesia. However, in the process of growing, rice plants are often threatened by various types of pests that can damage plants and reduce yields. Two types of pests that often threaten rice plants are caterpillars and aphids. Controlling these two pests is very important for rice plants. Caterpillars, especially grayak caterpillars, are one of the main pests that attack rice plants. These caterpillars can eat rice leaves and cause quite severe damage. At the beginning of the attack, the caterpillars will eat young leaves that are still fragile, causing holes in the leaves and reducing the photosynthesis ability of the plant. If the attack occurs in large numbers, rice plants can experience stunted growth and yields.
