Hello Hivers...

This post is my entry for the Street Photography Contest hosted by @Photofeed. If you would like to enter the contest, please read and follow the rules here

The photo I am sharing was taken when I went to the rice fields to monitor the growth of the rice plants. The development of rural infrastructure continues to be an important concern for the community as seen in the photo I am sharing. The ongoing process of repairing rice field roads is one of the efforts to improve accessibility to agricultural land. The dirt roads that were previously difficult to pass during the rainy season are now being hardened and widened to support the mobility of farmers and agricultural vehicles such as tractors and harvest transport.

A smiling resident walks along the roadside that is being repaired, indicating his gratitude and enthusiasm for the positive changes that are taking place. A worker is arranging stones as part of the construction of an irrigation channel on the side of the road. The combination of the road and the water channel will not only facilitate access but also prevent damage to the road due to waterlogging during heavy rains.

The view of the expanse of green rice fields surrounding the location adds to the beauty of the atmosphere, reflecting the fertile agricultural potential in this area. With a better road, farmers can transport their crops more quickly and efficiently and reduce losses due to delays in distribution. This certainly has a positive economic impact on the local community.

Repairing rice field roads like this is an important part of sustainable development in rural areas. In addition to improving the welfare of farmers, this project is also a symbol of cooperation between the community and related parties in building a better environment. It is hoped that the road that is built will last a long time and become vital access for future generations of farmers.

Important Note: I wrote in Indonesian, then translated it using Google Translate.
