I remember this night like it was yesterday. It was about 2 years ago now. I was coming back home from Shreveport, Lousiana with friends. We went to the casino. Well, we decided to leave around 3am and head back home. I was tired I told them that before we got back on the highway, but they were anxious to get back so we left. Everything was fine, they fell asleep and I was driving. Next thing I know...I'm being pushed and pulled to wake up. Not knowing I was in a Full sleep. At this point we were already in a ditch, with no brakes going 80. I had no control over the car. I was trying to think quick I knew no matter what happened the outcome was going to be if not fatal..Critical. I don't know how but when the car finally collided and landed, I came out with nothing but chest bruises. Scratched up nose and a busted and swolen lip. I didn't take the pictures of my lips until they weren't swolen because they were HUGE. So these pictures are a few days after the incident. My friends were all ok just shaken up and had a few scratches and bruises. We were Lucky and only by the grace of god did we make it out of that situation with no major injuries. It's a scary situation facing death. From now on when I travel if I feel the least bit tired, I'll pull over or rent a room. It's not worth risking your life over. You think dosing in and out you'll be fine...the next thing you know you're sleep driving. I just want people to be aware that it can happen to you and to take it seriously.
