Scripture:Philippians. 2:6-7
"Who, existing in the form of God, didn't consider equality with God a thing to be grasped," "but emptied himself ,taking the form of servant ,being made in the likeness of men".
The matter of Christ's Humanity and Divinity is a profound subject
One that needs to be critically observed through the eyes of the scriptures
I believe we are all aware Jesus Christ has some difference from Christ Jesus
I would want to move very fast so I want to know if we are all that matter
"Christ" is a big matter,Christ is the anointing ,the assignment on Jesus.
Jesus was referred to as Christ Jesus after the resurrection
Before the death and the resurrection,He was Jesus Christ
In the unfolding of God's Divine purpose, it was needful for Christ to be made manifest through Jesus .
Who is Christ
#Christ is the dream of God
#Christ is the science of God
When God said,let us make man, He wasn't thinking about Adam ,God was thinking about Christ
Yet Christ cannot be made ...That is to say ,relating to His essence and being
In Genesis ,God was thinking and dreaming about the First Man(we will understand more when we study on the will of God)
In unfolding that dream of the First Man ,Adam (in the garden ) was the first
So in 1corinthians 15 from 45 downwards, God gives a glimpse of His dream
Which is Christ
Now please understand both men "BECAME " by means of something
Please also understand, Jesus isn't the LAST MAN ADAM he is the LAST ADAM
Great but that isn't WHEN God decided to send His son
Jesus was slain from the foundation of the world
WHAT I'VE SAID SO FAR
Christ is the dream of God
When God said let make Man, he wasn't thinking of Adam
He was thinking of the First Man
In unfolding that dream, Adam (the garden )was the first to begin in the Divine Program
The order of the First Man had many Adams beginning with the one in the Garden
By that, Adam (in the garden) BECAME the First Man Adam
He became because of God's dream (Christ)
Adam was because of Christ
Adam was sustained by God's dream
So we had the First Man Adam(the one in the garden)
The second Adam
The 3rd Adam
The 4th Adam
The 5th Adam
Etc
Many Adams
The LAST ADAM was CHRIST
1corinthians 15:47
The first man (was) from out of the earth, made of dust (earthly -minded),the second Man (is) the Lord from out of heaven.( Gensis 2:7) Fast forward, Adam was a prototype. Adam was a figure of the one to come-Christ. Adam, wasting eat of the tree of Life. The tree of Life is God's own life
Adam would have had a place in God
But by his disobedience, the whole of Humanity was plunged into darkness and plaque by Sin
In the fullness of time, God sent the original, to reverse the whole program on the cross
One day we will look at the historical perspective
Everything was well calculated
Jesus coming on earth wasn't an emergency program. It was a well calculated event.
Now, by the whole reverse program. God gets for himself a people called the Church
The ultimate realisation of God's dream in the Church becoming Christ
God didn't tabernacle himself in this body of humanity mainly to cleanse our sins, The whole program was that the dream would be realised. Our culmination into the New Jerusalem
Coming back to this to conclude, Jesus took upon him the form of a servant
Philippians 2:7,But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men.
The house of God, the Church, has both a servant and the one who heads over it
Hebrews 3:5 and Moses verily (was) faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after.
Israel, was known as the house of God, begotten by Jacob
First, it took an encounter between Jacob (man) and Divinity
And out of the encounter, the house of God was begotten called Israel
The letting down of Christ into Jesus,was so that out of union of Divinity and Humanity, a house would be begotten called the Church
Deuteronomy 18:15 ,The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me, unto him ye shall hearken, Jesus, taking upon him the form of the servant was the position of Moses.
By that position, Jesus delivered the people of God.
Now, by the whole reverse program -God gets for himself a people called the church
The Ultimate realisation of God's dream in the Church becoming Christ
