Hello everyone! Today I'm going to share a little about my day grocery shopping in Giant. It's a large grocery supermarket chain. I went there today to mainly buy a large pot for cooking. One of the pots at home has developed a hole. It has been many years of using it so I guess it is time for a new one. I checked a different store earlier but it didn't have the large size but I found the big here. As I was looking around, I found some interesting things here. Let me take you through my trip.

This is what I saw at the entrance. It was a large rangoli art being made by a talented artist. She was still in the process of making it so I didn't want to distract her. I just took some photographs quickly. I tried to get a top level photo but I am too short. It was a beautiful rangoli with peacocks and a lotus flower along with the green Giant logo.

Here are some colourful cloth decorations. They were hung all around near the ceiling in the entire supermarket.

I also found some special Deepavali hampers. They were all displayed on top so they're visible while also being a nice decoration on the shelves. I think it's perfect to bring them along for the festival parties if we don't have the time to handpick a gift.

Here's a cute greeting display. I found it at the spices area.

By the way, I also found these cute stuffed animals. They were adorable especially the pandas. But then I checked the price and gasped. They were pricey. I guess it's standard price now for such toys. I might get the panda during my next trip so I can display it on my bed.

I also found these really cute vintage style tiffin storage container. By vintage I mean, maybe three generations back. I've seen them on Pinterest but the modern ones in shops are plain without such designs. I go to Giant regularly and they were never here before. I thought they're really cute and took some pictures. I don't think I'll ever use them but I would love a set to display them in the kitchen.

Buckle up for my most interesting find. Here's a coffee grinder I found. It was a self service grinder. This section was just created recently as I have never seen it before. They have put up some new coffee packs and after reading the guide, I understood that we can open the packs, grind the coffee beans and then close them back before taking them to the counter to pay. I guess this is for the people who don't have the grinder at home but still want to get the coffee beans.

Here are the different types of coffee packs. Some seems to be in powder form while the others were beans that we can grind here using the self service grinder. I thought it was cool as I don't think I've seen a coffee grinder in the middle of a supermarket before. I got multiple pictures of the different types of coffee to ask my cousin for her recommendation since she is more well versed.

So that was my day. I never make this kind of grocery posts usually but I really wanted to share the rangoli and the interesting things I saw today. Thank you for dropping by and have a great day!
