However, the manufacturer does not have too many models in the domestic market, but seeing the increasing trend of SUV vehicles, the company has planned to launch Outlander in India. The car is already available in the international market. Expectations are the car will soon launch after showcasing at the Auto Expo 2018. The Indian version would come with a 2.4-litre MIVEC engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. Inside, you might get a large 6.1-inch infotainment system with a touchscreen display. As per the early updates, the Mitsubishi Outlander will come in the price range of Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh competing against Tiguan and Honda CR-V.

Tata Nexon AMT

Tata Nexon is already running on the Indian roads, and now the company is all set to introduce the automatic version at the 2018 Auto Expo 2018. Tata Nexon AMT will come in both the petrol and diesel variants. The two trims will continue to have the same 1.5-litre diesel and 1.2-litre petrol engines respectively. The only major update that could be seen as of now is that the new version would be equipped with multi-drive modes. This means Tata Nexon AMT will be much more fuel efficient than its predecessors. Datsun Go Cross

Datsun has got a much of popularity in the Indian automobile market for producing family cars in a reasonable budget. According to the official sources, a sub-compact SUV, named as Datsun Go Cross, will be launched in March 2018 in the price range of Rs 4.5 to 5 lakh. The budget might trigger most of the buyers to go for this option. As far as engine power is concerned, the car is expected to be equipped with a 1.2-litre petrol motor with three cylinders.

Toyota Rush

After the great success of Fortuner, Toyota will now be introducing another SUV with a much lesser budget in the segment. Toyota Rush, the new seven-seater vehicle, has already been launched in other Asian countries and have garnered a lot of popularity. The Indian version will come with a large infotainment system and dual-toned interiors. The car will flaunt a muscular body and powered by a 1.5-litre engine. The price would be between Rs 8 to Rs 10 lakh.

Hyundai Kona

The South Korean car maker, Hyundai, is doing really well in the SUV segment with its very popular Creta in the range of Rs 8-10 lakh. This has pushed the manufacturer to introduce another SUV with more advanced features and powerful engines. Hyundai Kona, the new SUV, will be showcased at the Auto Expo 2018 and is expected to get launched in the mid of this year. The new SUV will come in both petrol and diesel variants with manual and automatic transmission systems as per the sources.
