I gotta stop reacting to these, i probably start to look like i WANT to drag this delusion down. 30% of the internet ... most people on the internet are users, not content creators. Most people on the internet do not want to pay to either read or create content.
In a small niche it's easy to think everyone wakes up with the steemit whitepaper as a bible next to their bed but reality would be different.
Have you been to a small town lately where the masses live (the actual masses), rand a 1000 random doorbells and asked them three questions :
please do, and me, im gonna really try to stop reacting to these
BEST PART OF ALL ... when i got on here, steemnazis was downvoting people who had the audacity to post affiliate links and now its featured and promoted (=lol) the need to adapt is good, but the idea shows no clear view on the concept of 'masses' i would really urge you to start using the word 'middle classes' instead
and then
do the same inquiry on 1000 random middle class doorbells and i'm afraid you'll still come up short
you have to start at the top to create incentive for the bottom ... i see your plan, i understand it but i dont think 'good written content' is the solution and ofcourse i hope i'm wrong because i have seen every cent i put inhere (relative to my resources a bit too much) only devaluate month after month
plenty to say as always, i personally don't like wordpress, its a scriptkiddie and hacker honeypot, so mass adoption wordpress style-with-a-wallet would need tennex security measures (not to mention the complete absurd use of resources wordpress has and how it needs oodles of tutorials to get started with) but i can see why it's 'widely adopted' by people who couldnt code for their life (that's not a requirement to be a decent human being btw, some do this, some do that, but observers paradox has niche communities feel like everyone does this because everyone around them does ...
Also : your average wordpress blog does not by deault include the option for trolls, haters, opposition and competition to wreck it into the ground and censor it with downvotes.
Unless you wanna keep that option you'll need a whole new dapp on top of the steemchain that excludes that bit.
No matter what you do, until the hyper-inflation is fixed there will always be hyper-inflation, meaning your bottom input of resources will have to follow up on the amount in circulation , not just on the amounts bought, to increase the price instead of simply keeping it stable you will need always more and more, that's a lot of masses over time
I'll grant you the fact that it's a mighty fine post as a dopamine jackpot and it rides on the waves of the last assault of HF21 propaganda (is what i call it, how i see, my opinion to which i hope i have the right)
and .. well, i think the happy few arent seeing clearly, and the few marketeers-who-can here do what they always do : cash in on the current hype
which in the end gets "the masses" that are here already : nothing
right ... here i go AGAIN ...
i gotta stop reacting to these and stick to people again, its gonna get me an ulcer and not many friends in high places again, reality check
but very nice post, marketing-wise
tsch out of RC again , 60SP doesnt run far ... about $5 but i dont see anyone on facebook pay $5 to write 20 or 30 pages in replies, i actually dont see anyone on facebook writing 30 pages in anything at all .. i just see lots of numbers and puppies and memes repeated over and over and i see billions and billions in the pockets of Faceberg, Tweeterz and sons ...
i also hear voices sometimes and if its hard you can always call me weird or bi-polar :) im fine with that (although the latter i'm not but im fine if people call me that and they're at ease after they can classify me , after all : strange things are dangerous , primitive brainstem remnant back to the lurker in the dark)
and nobody likes the nay-sayer ... i hope it all works out but i put my money on projects like steemmonsters and drugwars, hopefully megacity and preferably more to come ...
did anyone bother to invite Zynga yet ?
of all the people i personally asked (not like the masses ofcourse, the few i asked who live amongst them) if they wanted an account (i mean its like a dollar to create atm, even guttertrash like me could cough that up for a friend) only one said maybe and when i explained you can basically not do anything with a fresh account unless you pay to power up and THEN you gotta start networking in order to power up or pay more, just to be able to post whenerver you like she said "mmmm nah, i wouldnt know what to do with that" ...
??!?
so where do YOU live ? in Utopia ? (speaking to #general here) 8:10 am, no RC , guess i'll post this when i wake up ... tschuess then
ah 13:03, was it a dream, a gnome or some managerial people in my head? if i say much of the same it must be b/c i react to too much of the same in a timespan that's too short :D can i post yet hold on?
RE: Onboarding the masses - SteemPress updated roadmap and growth strategy
