DId you get in a row with a self-proclaimed dev over the actual applicaion of it ? i replied in another post with a quickie example of how easy it would be to implement using steem/condenser. A degreed schoolboy could probably do it in 30 minutes if they dont need an analyst to tell them what to do first.

I'm sure you know my opinion on the rest. Steemit is not de-centralized indeed, steemit.inc and the fortune 20 make the decisions. Downvoting has peoples scurrd of voicing what they want in whatever way they want and the fact that real money is involved amplifies that (im not gonna do a complete translation for the fans here but this is were we certainly agree)
what i dont completely disagree with is that steemit is a "large" group ... yes from a statisticians point of view, IF you could get every single one to answer and everyone to answer only once, in order to not push their views, but mostly : steemit is not representative sample of "global population" :)
