Leeches are annelids (close relatives of earthworms) that can be either terrestrial or aquatic. Not all of them feed on blood; this specimen in the genus Helobdella (family Glossiphoniidae) preys on other aquatic invertebrates, particularly sludge worms in the genus Tubifex. Las sanguijuelas son anélidos (parientes de las lombrices de tierra) que pueden ser acuáticos o terrestres.
