Another amazing day, as I did visit the old Bulgarian capital. The city of Veliko Tarnovo!

And half of the day was spent in the castle of Tsarevets.

The city is situated on the hilly slopes of the Balkan mountain.
It was capital of Bulgaria centuries ago.

There panoramic views are breathtaking 👇

The old architecture is preserved nearly everywhere.

After having a short walk through the old part of the city I got to the castle of Tsarevets, which was my final destination.

It is generally one of the top attractions not only here, but in the whole Bulgaria.
