In continuation of my yesterday's trip to the highest Miradouro / Observation deck, today I decided to go to the most famous and tourist crowded in general.
It's Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara, which offers top panoramic sweeping views over the very very central historical part of the city.
Everything started about an hour and a half from here. I am at the gates of the biggest park by size here, Park Monsanto, that is like five minutes walking distance from where I live.
My Actifitting plan for today was to get to the Miradouro but not taking the shortest way to there, namely just walking along the main promenade connecting my borough with the downtown, which usually takes me about 40 min, but the longest through the park.
There are many huge meadows followed by dense forests.
The park is dotted with various walking paths that were crowded today.
At certain point I walked out of the park to reach the central part of the city.
View from higher points of the park towards the city are really very impressive. Like I never cease to admire the combination of the old central part and the Aqueduct stuck with it.
That's actually the Aqueduct on the other end, forming here picturesque Arch.
As I already got into the old part this is a typical narrow steep street here.
Bairro Alto is top tourist area in Lisbon popular with 🌃 night clubs and bars.
My goal was to make it before dusk here, so I made it.

What a stunning view of this amazingly charming city!
The park here is cool as well, there is an impressive fountain and gardens. It was pitty that few people were to be seen, but the things soon will change, for good!
I stayed until it gets completely dark as were eager to show you the night Lisbon.
