Hello, hello, my dear community!!!
A new day, a new post. How have you spent your day? mine, well mine was normal, without electricity, there were many electricity failures since the morning and after so long the electricity finally disappeared until the afternoon.
I haven't done traditional art for a long time, well, actually I always do the sketches with pencils but I haven't used watercolors, colored pencils, acrylic paints and so on for a long time. Today as electricity punishes us all in the place where I live, I have dusted off my art supplies.
I have selected the watercolor pencils, I don't have much experience with them because the times I used them I didn't dilute them with water, but today before starting this portrait I did some tests and decided to use them.
Now, as usual... I have left a couple of images to show you a little what this process was.

To start all this I made a quick sketch on the watercolor paper, try to make it as clean as possible so that there are no dark lines or spots, I used an HB pencil to do this process.

I applied a light brown color to add what would be the shadow, nothing too strong, I have applied it softly and with the brush loaded with water I would dilute the color that is how watercolor pencils work. But I can't add much color because maybe the effect wouldn't suit me.

Apart from the light brown I have also mixed a bit of red to give it light pink tones, some red on the lip, hmmm something soft too 😋

The wet brush, makes all the colors that I have placed before mix and seem more homogeneous, in this step I have added some jewels and with the same brown color I sketched the necklace

After finishing the jewels , it wasn't long to finish this drawing, just a couple of things, up to this point it was fine, the truth is that I haven't done many watercolor portraits and I'm a bit rusty with art traditional.

To finish this portrait I have finished the hair and some other small details, which I did was when I transferred it to the PC after taking the photo. I entered it into Photoshop and edited the colors a bit, some reflections in the photo, I have also detailed the jewels a little more to give it more shine as well. So I finished this portrait.
