Esta semana he tomado la televisión por asalto, hasta risa me da del nerviosismo que me provoca. Tengo miedo de que me acusen de frívola. Mi asalto fue a mano armada con las armas de la amistad, la cultura y el saber. Primero estuve por las noticias que generó el evento de la décima y el verso improvisado, Oralitura Habana, luego por el programa "Gente de Pinar" al que estuve invitada. Aprovecho desde hive para agradecer las muestras de cariño de familiares, amigos y estudiantes. Por último hoy en la grabación del programa "Gente de Pinar" dedicado a 
Las sorpresas sobre las que les cuento vinieron fuera del set de grabación en el cuarto de maquillaje (agradezco la gentil muchacha que arregla mi pelo y da un tono agradable a mi rostro). David Santa Fe es un artista muy inquieto, no pierde tiempo. Allí en la espera andaba dibujando las imágenes para el post que estaba escribiendo.
Tremendo privilegio, recrear con dibujos aquellos textos ocurrentes e interesantes que salen de su imaginación y sus vivencias. Eso me encantó, les cuento que me regaló los dibujos una vez fotografiados y yo como dirían los españoles aún estoy flipando. Le pedí fervientemente que me guarde cada uno de sus bocetos, pues algunos han visto ya la basura como destino final.
En el maquillaje el maestro hacía bromas y expandía su carisma por el salón. David en un santiamén hizo una caricatura con un puñado de líneas del entrevistado que estaría acompañándonos en el set. Como si la fiesta fuera poca se apareció 
Su hermano gemelo Iván es tan buena persona como Irán, miran limpio y los logros en la vida no les han quitado la nobleza. Con Iván hablé de caballos, me enseñó los que tiene en su casa son dos ejemplares muy bien cuidados hasta ventilador les pone, eso no lo había escuchado nunca.
Luego en el set David habló del amor a su terruño, de sus preferencias a la hora de crear. Yo fui su invitada y aproveché para agradecerle ante el público de Tele Pinar por su cariño, su manera de impulsar mi creación, y su fidelidad a nuestro querido San Luis. Por otra parte cuando los dos hermanos llegaron al set, espontáneamente expresaron sus sentimientos de amor y respeto el uno por el otro. El locutor Luis Hidalgo Ramos con su oficio de buen entrevistador encontró temas interesantes para deleitar a los televidentes escudriñando en la vida personal y profesional de los muchachos.
Una sorpresa mayor fue ver entrar al estudio de grabación a la maestra Idia, mi maestra de música en la vocacional (escuela donde hice el preuniversitario). Me encantaba quedarme en sus clases, preparando una canción o ensayando la interpretación del Himno nacional como parte del coro de la escuela.
Ella hace 20 años era una mujer mayor con una edad que sobrepasaba la de la jubilación, sinceramente no esperaba verla activa todavía y allí estaba, rodeada de sus alumnos, tan activa y profesional como hace dos décadas. Amablemente me dijo: esa carita me parece conocida y yo le abracé con el corazón.
Pues así las cosas, últimamente me he convertido en una mujer mediática, pero en buena hora, porque he disfrutado las circunstancias y las personas que me han rodeado. Oralitura Habana me llevó hasta el paroxismo con tantas cosas lindas que ví y aprendí. Gente de Pinar me rodeó de personas maravillosas e imprescindibles para la cultura de nuestra región.
Tengo mucho que aprender y sigo diciendo, me encanta la televisión, aclaro me gustaría trabajar detrás de las cámaras, investigando, escribiendo, dirigiendo incluso. Pero estas experiencias las he disfrutado al máximo. Si me acompañaron en este viaje televisivo les agradezco. Tremendous privilege, to recreate with drawings those witty and interesting texts that come out of his imagination and his experiences. I loved it, I tell you that he gave me the drawings once photographed and I, as the Spanish would say, I'm still freaking out. I fervently asked him to keep each one of his sketches for me, as some of them have already seen the trash as their final destination.

Then on the set David spoke of his love for his homeland, of his preferences when it comes to creating. I was his guest and I took the opportunity to thank him before the public of Tele Pinar for his affection, his way of promoting my creation, and his loyalty to our beloved San Luis. On the other hand, when the two brothers arrived on the set, they spontaneously expressed their feelings of love and respect for each other. A major surprise was to see Idia, my music teacher at the vocational school where I did my pre-university studies, enter the recording studio. I loved to stay in her classes, preparing a song or rehearsing the interpretation of the National Anthem as part of the school choir. She was an older woman 20 years ago with an age beyond retirement, I honestly did not expect to see her still active and there she was, surrounded by her students, as active and professional as she was two decades ago. She kindly said to me: that little face looks familiar and I hugged her with my heart.
So that's how things are, lately I have become a media woman, but in good time, because I have enjoyed the circumstances and the people who have surrounded me. Oralitura Habana took me to paroxysm with so many beautiful things I saw and learned. Gente de Pinar surrounded me with wonderful and essential people for the culture of our region.
I have a lot to learn and I keep saying, I love television, I would like to work behind the cameras, researching, writing, even directing. But I have enjoyed these experiences to the fullest.
