We aim high, we took the shot
and gave the best we have got.
But babe I can no longer wait,
I’m almost giving up.
We’ve fallen out
and my hope is like a flame that burns out.

I’m setting you free,
hope you become the best you could be.
Babe, why are you so hard headed,
why choose to stay with me?
You are fair and lovely.
Someone else can make you happy.

On July eleventh, a bronze medal you gave me,
Medallion of St. Benedict, who is he?
It’s strange but beautiful,
a heavenly blink and all our sorrows cleared.
Did he answer your prayer?
or was it my prayer that he answered?

The nimbus cloud above our heads
that threatens our lives with a heavy rain,
St. Benedict blew them away,
protected our hearts from the scourging pain.

Please stop crying now,
it’s not that I’m sending you away.
Please forgive all my shortcomings,
don’t let me go astray.
I keep the medal you gave,
God knows I want you to stay.

And I won’t waste the second chance you gave me,
This is my promise to you in front of Thee.
I kiss the medallion of St. Benedict
You’ll stay in my arms, that’s my final verdict.St+Benedict+in+white-52+-+Copy.jpg
