You can also participate in this weekly challenge, to know more about how to participate in this challenge visit this link.
ABOUT: Melee Mayhem RULESET:
Melee Mayhem is a ruleset in Splinterlands battles in which all Melee attack monsters can attack from any position.- Prime use case for melee units with Bloodlust.- Abilities take precedence where targeting is concerned.

There were three rulesets in this battle
Melee Mayhem, Target Practice, and Are You Not Entertained?. The allowed mana cap was 18, water, and Dragon Splinter Summoners were only active in this battle.Battle Summoner
I choose
BORTUS as a Summoner for this battle which is an untamed edition water splinter Summoner. In this battle, I chose it because this is the only upgraded summoner I have of the water splinter. Most of the time I am using this summoner whenever I am playing with the water splinter. The ability of this Summoner is that it reduces the 1 Magic attack of all Magic attack monsters in the enemy team. I have upgraded it to level 4 and under this summoner, I can use up to level 5 common cards.
1. SPINEBACK TURTLE:
As usual, in the first position, I used
SPINEBACK TURTLE which is a melee attack beta edition water splinter monster that costs 4 mana and has Thorns ability at level 1. I used it in the first position because this monster has the Thorns(When hit with a Melee attack, does 2 Melee damage back to the attacker) ability and the ruleset was of Melee Mayhem so I used it in the first position. I mostly use it in the first position whenever the ruleset is of 4 mana. I have upgraded it to level 4 in which it gains the Thorns ability and it works very well for me whenever I use it in my battles.
2. TIDE BITER:
In the second position, I used
TIDE BITER, which is also a reward edition Epic melee attack monster from the water Splinter. It costs 3 mana and has Reach(Melee attack Monsters with the Reach-ability may attack from the second position on the team) ability at level 1. At level 3 it gives -2 melee damage and gains one more ability Reflection Shield(This Monster doesn't take damage from Blast, Magic Reflect, Thorns, or Return Fire). In this battle, I used it in the second position because the battle mana was of less mana so it fits well in the lineup. I have upgraded it to level 3 and it works very well for me. When I upgraded this monster, after that I mostly use it in my battles.
3. CRUEL SETHROPOD:
In the third position, I used
CRUEL SETHROPOD which is a Chaos Edition Melee attack monster from the water splinter. It costs 3 mana and gives -1 melee damage at level 1. I got this monster at level 3 from the pack opening in which it gives -2 melee damage. In this battle, I used it in the third position because it also cost 3 mana and it is a good melee attacker. Currently, I have this monster at level 3 and it works fine for me.
4. TORRENT FIEND:
In the fourth position, I used
TORRENT FIEND which is a chaos edition legendary melee attack water splinter monster. It costs 0 mana and gives -1 melee damage at level 1. I used it in the fourth position because of the Melee mayhem ruleset and the mana cap was low so I used it in the fourth position. Currently, I have this monster at level 1 and I don't usually use it in my battles.
5. FURIOUS CHICKEN:
In the fifth position, I used
FURIOUS CHICKEN which is a reward edition rare no-attack neutral splinter monster. It is the rarest card in the SplinterlandsIt because it costs 0 mana and belongs to a neutral splinter(we can use it in all battles except when there is a change in the ruleset). I use it in the fifth position it is a melee attack monster at level 3 so due to the Melee mayhem ruleset I used in the battle. I have upgraded it to level 3 in which it gains one melee attack.
6. ISGALD VORST:
In the last position, I used
ISGALD VORST which is a Gladius edition Melee attack Common water Splinter monster. It also costs 5 mana, gives -2 melee damage, and at level 1 it has two abilities Bloodlust and Opportunity. I used it in the last position because it has a bloodlust ability so when it kills a monster its stats will increase and when it reaches the first position it will give high damage. I have got this monster at level 3 in the gold foil version in which it gives -2 melee damage. I mostly use it in my brawl battles whenever I am playing with the water splinter.
Battle Result:
I have won this battle which you can see in the below screenshot and I was rewarded 0.365 SPS.
Did your strategy work?
Yes, my all strategies worked very well in this battle and I won it.
