BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge! RULESET: Ferocity

ABOUT: Ferocity RULESET:

Ferocity is a ruleset in Splinterlands battles in which all monsters have the Fury ability. Fury ability means monsters with the Taunt ability get double damage.

• Think carefully before including a unit with Taunt in your lineup as they will take double damage from units with Fury.

Battle Ruleset:

There were two rulesets in this battle which are Going The Distance and Ferocity. The allowed mana cap was 22 and water, Death, and Dragon Splinter Summoners were not active in this battle.

Battle Summoner

I choose GENERAL SLOAN as a Summoner for this battle, which is a Chaos Legion edition Rare Life Splinter Summoner. This summoner costs 4 mana and has one ability (+1 range attack to all friendly monsters). I used this summoner because in the battle rulesets Going The Distance in which we can use only the range attack monsters so that's why I prefer to use it and it will increase one range attack of all friendly monsters. I have upgraded it to level 5 under which I can use up to level 6 common cards and it is the only summoner I have in level 5.

1. THUNDERBIRD:

In the first position, I used THUNDERBIRD which is an untamed edition Epic range attack monster from the Life Splinter. It costs 3 mana and has a Flying ability at level 1 along with 1 range attack. I used it in the first position because it has high speed and Flying so it will be missing enemy team attacks. I was having no other monster to use in the first position and in this battle this using this monster in the first place worked for me.

2. VENARI MARKSRAT:

In the second position, I used VENARI MARKSRAT which is a reward edition common Range attack monster from the Neutral Splinter. I used it in the second place because of its Martyr ability so if the enemy team has a Snipe card it will be targeted and will increase the stats of the adjacent monsters. I have got it at level 3 from the focus rewards in the gold foiled version and it works fine for me.

3. HALFLING ALCHEMIST:

In the third position, I used HALFLING ALCHEMIST which is a Promo edition Epic range attack monster from the neutral splinter. It costs 2 mana and has one ability at level 1 Halving. I used it in the third position because of its range attack and also because of its halving ability so if an enemy team used a high stats card it will half its stats. Currently, I have one of it and works very well for me whenever I use it in my battles.

4. VENARI CRYSTALSMITH:

In the fourth position, I used VENARI CRYSTALSMITH which is a Reward edition Range attack monster from the Life splinter. It costs 4 mana and has one ability Tank Heal at level 1. I used it in the fourth position because of its -3 range attack and Tank Heal ability so it will restore the health of the monster in the first place. I have upgraded it to level 4 and works very well for me.

5. PEACEBRINGER:

In the fifth position, I used PEACEBRINGER which is an Alpha-Beta edition Rare range attack monster from the Life Splinter. I used it in the fifth position because of its high-range damage. it costs 4 mana and gives -4 range damage in each round. I have upgraded it to level 3 for a -3 range attack.

6. XENITH ARCHER:

In the last position, I used XENITH ARCHER which is a chaos edition common range attack monster from the Life Splinter. I used it in the last position because 2 mana was left in my team and this monster costs 2 mana and gives -1 range damage due to which I choose it. I have got it at level 3 in the Gold foiled version from the pack opening.
