Growing up, I always wanted to be a pharmacist. That have been my dream

I loved the white coat. I loved how they arrange drugs. I loved how people respect them when they say, "Go and meet the pharmacist." In my young mind, pharmacist means you are intelligent, you are neat, you have money, and you help people. I told everybody, "I will be a pharmacist." My parents were proud of that dream.

But life does not always give you what you want straight.

Today, I am studying geology. A professional course that is very different from pharmacy. From drugs to rocks. From hospital to field. At first, I was not happy. I kept asking, why geology? Why not pharmacy? Have I failed my childhood dream?

Have I ever imagined choosing a completely different profession? Yes, that is exactly what happened to me. I imagined pharmacy, but life gave me geology.

But as I started studying geology, my mindset started changing.

Geology taught me that the ground we walk on has stories. That stone that people kick has history of millions of years. That water we drink, the oil we use, the gold, the sand for building — all of it comes from the earth. And someone has to study the earth to find it. That someone is a geologist.

If you ask me now, if I could choose any profession freely, what would I choose?

Honestlly, I woould still chooose pharmmacist if you tallk aboout childhood loove. Because that first love does not die easily. I still love the idea of mixing drugs, helping someone get well, standing behind the counter and counseling people. It is a noble profession.

But if you ask me what I have grown to love and find meaningful now, it is geology. Because geology opened my eyes to how big the world is.

Why would I choose geology now? Because it is adventurous. You don't just stay in one place....... You go to the field, you explore, you discover. One day you can be the reason a community finds clean water. Another day you can be part of finding minerals that build a nation. That is meaningful.

What inspires me is that both professions — pharmacist and geologist — are about helping people, just in different ways....... One heals the body, the other studies the earth that sustains the body.

So my story is not about abandoning a dream, but about understanding that dreams can evolve........ I started with pharmacy in my heart, and now I carry geology in my hands. And both are still part of me.

If I have opportunity tomorrow to become a pharmacist, I will be happy. But if I continue as a geologist, I will also be proud, because I am still doing something important.

That is my journey......
