In the silent night, the only sound that could be heard was the crickets, cats meowing and close to my ear was the buzzing sounds of those mosquitoes.
I lay on my bed as I try to force myself to sleep. The mosquitoes were having a party as they attacked me from different directions made me wonder if they were sent by my enemies. But I can't recall doing any bad recently. What made the situation worse was that there was no electrelectricity and this made the mosquitoes much. Every time I try to swat them I ended up slapping myself leaving my face hot. There was no candle or lantern to illuminate the room to give me an idea of where or how to swat them. The mosquitoes buzzed so loudly I had to cover my face with a blanket in the attempt to escape the bites but the heat end up forcing me out to face them. As soon as I showed up they were there waiting for me. I had no clue when the electricity will be restored because when it rains, it takes forever for electricity to be back on. It was few minutes after 8pm that I remembered there was a local pub down the area where people enjoyed themselves the privilege of a generator, even if the whole area was dark it will be the only place still bubbling, the place never sleeps, I've promised myself and parent never to visit such a place ever in my life but I decided to go there and was wondering why I didn't think of it earlier. You know how pubs are but I had to get away from this blood-sucking mosquitoes. I walked into the joint but those prostitutes were busy eyeing me, but I said to myself "if only they know the reason I'm here". But no one asked me, everybody was busy getting drunk, spanking asses of those prostitute, taking cigarettes and doing all other indecent stuffs but I had no choice but to endure it for few more hours before heading back home.
