The change of seasons is like the mixing of giant palette ... a glimpse of the Divine hand at work. Here a dab of burnt orange, there a touch of gold. It's awesome, humbling stuff to meditate on the ever-shifting natural beauty that daily surrounds us.

Look, for example, at this striking image, below, of a tree aflame. Like a massive torch...

These pictures are taken in Maryland, near Washington DC.
It makes the heart glad to awaken to such breath-restoring splendor. Morning becomes electric. Here is my joyous wife mirroring the wonder that is around her:

And, there I am, all bundled up -- I am from Egypt, and live most of the year in Florida, so Washington DC can be cold for me :)
