"Gold and Silver Swell"

I painted a kind of stratum in which gold, silver, and other metals are buried. In this drawing I used modeling paste to make large bumps. I wish I could show you the real thing. ...... Devising the matiere has been a challenge in my previous paintings, and I would like to continue experimenting with it. In this painting, it is quite uneven, so I have limited myself to scattering small and large beads.

「金銀のうねり」
ミクストメディア、14x18cm、2022
金や銀などの金属が埋まっている地層のようなものを描きました。この絵ではモデリングペーストを使って大きな凹凸をつけています。実物を見せられればいいんですが……。マチエールを工夫するということは今までの絵でもチャレンジしてきましたが、これからも色々と実験したいと思います。この絵ではかなり凹凸がついているので、大小のビーズを散らすにとどめました。
