Yea I saw this a lot when I was first looking into gold jewelry, but I've bought some Mene for my wife and she wears it on a regular basis and it's been totally fine. The easiest way to disprove the myth is just to show how many sales Mene has and all the glowing reviews. If the gold was too soft to be used for jewelry then you would see a lot of angry customers, which is clearly not the case.
