Here's another abstract comics sequence I did. This one is semi-figurative. I made it available on NFT showroom for purchase. Abstract comics are quite interesting to me. Being a comics fan and a student of fine art when I was at uni, I really gravitated towards pop artists such as Warhol, Jasper Johns and of course Roy Lichtenstein. I was also a huge fan of later artists that were inspired by the pop artists such as Basquiat and Keith Haring. I did a lot of my own style paintings back in the 1990's but never really did anything with them. Much later, when I discovered abstract comics, I've been intrigued at the possibility of combining comics back with the fine arts that were often inspired by them in the first place. Sort of a recursive relationship. Cheers!
