Time
Time isn't on our side
There way too much when you have something to hide
And way too little when you're having fun
Eventually it runs out, and there's no regaining what's done
We waste our time without a second thought
Once the hook of social media our mouths have caught
Endless hours of "entertaining" rubish
That leaves us seconds closer to eternal anguish
I wish I was able to slow down time
So that I could enjoy moments for longer
Especially the moments when you're mine
I wish my control over time was stronger
Make the most of what you have
Before it slips away without you realizing it
