In the community of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam, our Dao ethnic friends live in the northwest region, the tip of the country, where there are many medicinal remedies, including the bathing medicine of Dao ethnic people .

That day, we were introduced by the innkeeper to Ta phin village, where we could take a herbal bath. Right after that, we moved to Ta phin village. about 9 km from Sapa town. The road is quite far but also very easy to go. You can also follow Google Map and it will take you there.

This section has quite short turns. I quite like this section. On the other side of the hill, there are green trees growing quite sparsely. We have to go around this hill to get out of the village hehe

After walking for a while, we met some Dao ethnic boys. We said hello to those boys and in return we received an extremely friendly hello and smile.

After a long journey, we also found the house of a Dao ethnic friend who offers medicinal bathing services. You can see that even though there is a spacious house next door, their culture is always preserved in a traditional house.

After discussing a bit, we checked in to take a shower and the hostess took us in and checked the amenities in the room to see if they were enough.

I took a photo of the homeowner chopping herbs to boil for us to bathe in. This is one of the many herbs that they took pains to bring back from the northwest mountains and forests.

Here they also sell handicraft products made by local people and sold to tourists.
