Details
I made 4 characters for this project - 2 male and 2 female for the different classes. I created them with lots of details, but they can be made a bit more cartoonish if needed.
I made the characters by cutting out different elements from images i found on the Internet and then blend them together through several steps, so it was basically a Frankenstein process.. When you only use small parts from an image, which is less than 30% of the whole image you are using, you can legally use images that are not trademarked., especially if you modify them further. If you cut out the batman logo from a Batman wallpaper though, that would be considered illegal as it is a trademark. Other than examples like that you are allowed to use and modify pieces of pictures.
1 Pick the images you need.
2 Cut out all the elements from these images and paste them into a new file.
3 Align the elements and match their sizes.
4 Match their color contrast and brightness levels.
5 Create shadows where needed.
6 Create a layer, where you can precisely smooth out and blend what you need using a soft brush with low opacity.
7 Use an artistic filter on all of your elements to match the styles of the elements.
8 Create a gradient layer over everything and use low opacity. This way we create a little bit of unified lighting for all the elements of our composition.
9 Repeat process for every other character.
Here are some screenshots from the process:
The first one is the aristocrat female character. I took a body piece, a head piece and new eyeglasses. After i unified their style through filters and adjustments of the colors i added a correction layer to blend them all smoothly.
Here i repeated the process - i removed some parts, added new ones like face and hands, and then i blended them. After i finished with both models i started adjusting their colors with one another, so both of them would be in the same stylistic.
Here i created the other male character using the exact same process. The most difficult part is adjusting the colors and lighting for all of your objects, but it's not complicated, it just takes some time.
When i finished the second female character, again i adjusted its colors to the stylistics of her class. After they were all ready we line them up and show them in all their glory!

I pasted all the links, but due to some reason Utopian doesen't display them in my post, so i created an extra file where the .psd is, where you can review all the links i used.
I can make lots of adjustments, so if you just want a detail to be added or switched, just say so.
It took me about 2 days to complete it so i hope you like my contribution.
Think Big!
