Testing Out Trybe.One; The EOS Based Social Media Platform
With everyone being so negative about Steem these days (even though I myself have high beliefs for the future of this platform), I thought I would check out some of the other contending blockchain based blogging platforms out there!
Trybe.One is a social media platform based on EOS. It popped up earlier this year after the launch of the EOS main-net. Their platform seems to quickly have gained popularity, at least within the EOS crowd.
My personal first impression of Trybe.One is mixed.
I really like that they seem to focus more on high-quality blog posts. With every post you are publishing on their platform potentially costing the creator tokens, and then also having to go through a moderators approval. This makes their platform basically shit-post free!
My first post on Trybe got approved rather quickly, like in less than 10 minutes. My second post though have been pending approval for over 1 hour now. So it seems approval times for posts on Trybe may vary a bit.
They have a 5 star rating system instead of just a simple up or downvote like here on Steem. I rather like this function.
The interface of Trybe could use some work though, I find it a bit chaotic; but it is also possible I have just gotten used to the simplicity of the design on Steemit.com...
