This is my very first publication on

The Pew: Guns & more (created/hive-139358) Hive community.

So let me introduce myself to all of you. I'm a Pistol Shooter from Portugal. I've started to shoot back in 1997.

Recently I'm mostly active in 10 meters Pistol one discipline governed by ISSF - International Shooting Sport Federation. Since the beginning of the Pandemic sadly I sat aside, and my practices and participation on official events became almost null.

I hope that shortly I can return to practicing and events, so I can share with all some interest stuff from the "first person" view.

Today, has I continue to be true shooter by "heart", I was helping in one Shooting event of the National Cup on MLAIC (Muzzle Loaders Associations International Committee).

All the historical magic of loading your gun by the muzzle with black powder, corn semolina, and finally the calepine (small circle of cotton tissue) were the leader ball will bedding in.

All the elements are placed in the end of the barrel with the help of a wand, and then...

Well, you all now it! Squeeze the trigger and enjoy the great smell of black powder in air, with the sound effect of all of that! And trust me that you wanna have your ear protection on... Well it's mandatory by regimentation.

Hopefully I will return with more interesting photographic material, sorry for the small intro publication for the moment.

Enjoy the weekend, and remember to enjoy Shooting with the safety rules always present.

Cheers
