Good evening, #Monomad friends
Here is my entry for the #monomad contest by @brumest and
@monochromes.
A train station always piques my curiosity about how I’ll manage to capture the light and contrasts, which are striking.
The interplay between the iron of the structures and the railroad tracks themselves, and the human element—so fragile—which, in the simple act of waiting, lets itself be swept away by the exhilaration that waiting brings.
I remember that in the past, those who were waiting would be reading the day’s newspaper, or even the weekly paper with the most important news.
Today, our desperate need to feel entertained—and our inability to cope with the normal boredom of a short wait—traps us, staring obsessively at a screen we hold in our hands.
And almost nothing allows our gaze to shift from something so small and so bright to other things that may seem mundane, yet connect us to the outside world and to those around us...
I hope you enjoyed my post here in the B&W community
