Good evening, #Monomad friends
Here is my entry for the #monomad contest by @brumest and
@monochromes.
There are common places, starting points for journeys. Some are longer, others not so much… and it has nothing to do with time, nor even with distance. Perhaps the greatest journey—and the greatest challenge we can face—is the journey to our innermost self.
Only there will we find our true self—our very own. It is not always visible to others, and rarely to ourselves.
On one of my recent trips, I noticed something very interesting: the fact that waiting itself becomes a starting point. Before we even begin the journey itself, we’re already traveling. Our thoughts take flight. Others have thoughts and reflections that carry them back to the past—some to a very distant past that they might not even want to remember.
A journey is always a starting point. But what matters most is—and always will be—the desire and the need to travel. Even if it’s just staying right where you are, waiting for a train.
I hope you enjoyed my post here in the B&W community
