Good afternoon, #Monomad friends
Here is my entry for the #monomad contest by @brumest and
@monochromes.
How has your Saturday been so far? I’ve had a really busy day today. And even though it was packed with activities, I ended up not taking the photos I wanted.
Today I’m feeling monochromatic. But in my case, that means I’m feeling happy! I’ve always liked writing with light, using only shades of gray—from pure white to perfect black.
Observing people is something I really enjoy doing. Their gestures, the way they walk, the way they look at and interact with their surroundings, the way they smoke a cigarette… The way they cross their legs, or stare off into “the distance.” Practically everything can be a subject of interest.
How often do we truly notice what’s around us? We’re so busy that we end up slipping into what I call “robot mode.”
We don’t look—we just see… We don’t listen—we just hear… We don’t think—we just act.
It feels good to be alive and to realize it. To appreciate that gift.
I hope you enjoyed my post here in the B&W community
