How are you? I hope you are well. Today I want to share here in this community a small incursion I made to a hotel unit, well located, very close to the Alqueva dam. Well, unfortunately it was not to spend the night there, because it seems that the view from the rooms is simply unique, but I confess that the snack in the bar of the hotel was not bad at all.
Since the arrival at Herdade dos Delgados, we have a reception in "full force" of the unique nature that surrounds us, and the care that entrepreneurs had in choosing the location of this hotel unit that aims to be a "differentiator" point in the region.
The clear and clean sky, the golden plains that extend waving by a horizon in no way boring, and that invites us to relaxation, and to "disconnect" from the concerns that we often carry without any need.
When we park the car, as soon as we turn off the ignition, the silence is filled with the sound of crickets that incessantly try to conquer the females that, on that springtime but almost summer afternoon, may pass by?
Lulled by the tantric sound, and by the smells of warm earth, mixed with the intense and unique smell of humid earth, coming from a leafy bed of trailing iceplant, hardy iceplant or pink carpet (Delosperma cooperi), they lead us to the entrance of this tourist complex...
Passing the reception, it is clear that the space, despite being oversized for the occupation it currently has, the pretensions it sustains are to be able to hold its own in an area that is increasingly competitive.
In the space that embraces the Alqueva dam, we have the swimming pool, where a unique vision of all the force of nature leaves us without any need to have a television nearby, or if you want us to think on our cell phones, at least during the first few minutes when we absorb all the good energy.
Although I only spent one end of the afternoon, and visited this hotel unit to have a small coffee, a little more refined than usual, I make a note that one day I will have to spend a season in the Mour茫o region - but fortunately a couple I know live in the region and their house is far more welcoming than any luxury hotel! Friendship is something priceless, don't you agree?
