That would only filter out those who don't actually care about me.
Exactly and obviously. With a low amount of Hive Power, only those people remain, who actually truly care either about you, or about your content.
I get plenty of real engagement, but I had to work for it.
On a properly working social network, you do not have to work for it at all, because people are there actually for the content. They naturally, genuinely write the comments.
Nowadays I very rarely comment under other people's posts, because I spend very little time online, but in the proper Facebook groups (even in smaller groups), I always receive real comments, even if I do not write comments under other people's posts at all.
And nowadays I also more and more rarely write blog posts too.
I wrote only two blog posts on the Hive blockchain in the previous seven days.
Mostly I write for myself. Usually there are no content consumers on this platform.
I simply do not have time for a not working platform.
I rather spend my time with those, who actually love and care about me (real, physical community).
If you have to work for engagement, then you are (currently we are) on a not properly working social network.
