It made me feel as if people were actually reading what I posted, that they were interested in what I wrote.

If you are blogging to an audience, then this is how it should be.

For example, recently all the rewards that I would normally receive went down, and even though that doesn't bother me that much, and it doesn't really take away my motivation to write and post, it does make me wonder what the reason for this change is.

Probably the decrease in the Hive price. The best is to be consistent. Blog about what you like, what you do, where do you go, etc. Even if you do not find like-minded people, you can still find pleasure, happiness and enjoyment in blogging. And you can also upload photos/videos as memories.
