We are not allowed to be outside our houses for unnecessary activities now that we have a pandemi, so my visit to the beach was short.

Nowadays we may go wherever we would like for whatever reasons. Currently there are no restrictions. There were some in the past, but the government lifted them. Nowadays we do not even need masks outside, only inside (buildings and public transport). They are planning to lift even this restriction in September, so we will probably not need to wear masks in buildings and on public transport from September.
