Spending three days traveling to and from your place of work and home is not a pleasant prospect, with hours waiting at airports and sleeping in impersonal hotel rooms in strange cities, where there's not be sightseeing during stopovers as one needs a Visa to walk around some of the cities!

It needs to a very good job to make anyone do that. Probably your brother have his reasons to do this. I am very curious about it, to be honest, because most people would not do this.

I travel only approximately two hours to my workplace by buses. And as I know, most people are not traveling more than a few hours to their workplaces.
