How about YOU? Ever been struck by this kind of subtle "hostageware?" Do you know what all your small "subscriptions" are? Do you know what your "no-big-deal $4.99 a month" subscriptions ADD UP to?
Honestly speaking, I somewhat "envy" (I do not like this word) those people, who can forget about multiple $4.99 USD per month subscriptions. This looks like somewhat a luxury for me. For someone, who lives a little bit under the local minimum wage in Hungary, a $4.99 USD per month subscription is actually a big deal for me. Especially multiple subscriptions. I rather spend around $3.55 USD on a lunch in a local restaurant (or in a grocery store for a few days of food) than to subscribe for anything for $4.99 USD per month.
$4.99 USD per month is really not a big deal to many people in the USA, but it is worth to think about people in other countries.
While it is not a big deal to many of you, it may be considered as a luxury by some people.
I am still grateful and happy for what I have. I appreciate it. Some people live in much worse financial circumstances. So this is why I do not like to say that I am envy of anything. Because it may suggest that I am an ungrateful man, but I am really not.
Have a nice day and have a nice weekend.
All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.
