Exactly one month ago (on the afternoon of 2023.04.21) I arrived on Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. At first the daylight temperatures felt hot, and the night temperatures felt cold, but I quickly used to them. Since I arrived on Tenerife I live with a (mostly Hungarian) cave/tent living community on South Tenerife. I lived both in a cave and in a tent too. Currently I live in a tent. I very much like both of them.
Most of the days were almost full of sunshine so far. The previous few days were cloudy. Today too. On one of the previous few days there were a few very little raindrops, but there were no real rain. I heard that the rain is very rare on this part of the island, but I also heard that it can be serious. It can wash away the things, including the tents.
In addition to the previously mentioned lemon trees, we have other trees too. We water them every day.
We have other plants too in pots. A complete garden. Of course we regularly water them too.
We cook the food outside on the community place. We have multiple cooking places.
By the way, yesterday (on 2023.05.20) afternoon someone gifted two seats to the community place. It is very convenient/pleasant to sit on them.
I really like this lifestyle. Living in the nature. Probably I will stay on Tenerife for long term (for months, for years, for decades).
We will see.
Have a nice day and have a nice weekend.
All the best. Greetings and much love from Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.
