Today, we begin exploring the latest big batch of old family photos that I've acquired. Lots of information on these, as certain family members were good at writing notes on photos (plus, there was lots of paperwork with even more information). Even so, I still haven't sorted things out completely. What I do (seem to) know for sure is that these photos were saved by one Patricia Gayle Harden. We'll watch her grow up (from 1937 on) and we'll also see various members of her family and the family of her future husband.
On that note, here's what I think is the oldest photo in the bunch. I'm guessing 1880s, possibly 1890s. According to this handwritten note on the back:

...this is quite possibly a photo of Patricia's great-grandparents - "The John Hardens" (on her father's side). And don't they look like a cheerful couple? :-)
