Finally, for The Great RV Adventure of July 2007, here I we are on the last little leg of the drive home. Almost made it, this is about a half mile from my house. I was sure I'd be OK on the trip home as it was mostly downhill (unlike the trip up to JQ). But no. The "Dreamer" couldn't handle that last little hill on the road to my house. Conked out again.
Finally, got it going again, after meeting a few of my neighbors (which I prefer not to do - especially under this type of circumstance). Raced the "Dreamer" up the final hill to my house (before it could conk out, again). Parked it and never drove it, again. I was that disgusted. Sold it for $200 to a friend of my landlord a few years later and that was the end of my RV adventures. Never again. Not unless I win the lotto and can buy a brand new one. :-)
