First, we'll check out some of the critters I saw wandering around Calico Ghost Town in November, 2006. Not exactly "wild" critters, but at least free to wander. These fat little birds were pretty fun to watch. They followed each other around everywhere. I think they're some kind of quail. But don't quote me on that. :-)
