Reading to reflect:
John 8: 1-12
8 and Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
2 And in the morning he returned to the temple, and all the people came to him; and sitting he taught them.
3 Then the scribes and the Pharisees brought him a woman caught in adultery; and putting it in the middle,
4 said to him: Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery itself.
5 And in the law Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say?
6 But they said tempting him, to accuse him. But Jesus, leaning toward the ground, was writing on the ground with his finger
7 And as they insisted on asking him, he straightened up and said to them: Whoever is without sin be the first to throw the stone against it ... (Reina-Valera 1960 (NIV)

In the Bible we are told the attitude that the Pharisees had of other people towards sin they pretended that everyone would keep the law but they were far from fulfilling it and in these verses we can read the attitude that the Pharisees assume when they surprise a woman in the act of adultery.
Let us remember the Pharisees pretended comply with the law understand that Jesus looked at what was in the hearts of the people They also forgot that Jesus came to save and give freedom to the captive and obviously the sinful woman also needed forgiveness and salvation of God
They forgot that Jesus knows the intentions and thoughts of the heart and came before Him to tempt him by putting this woman in front with the intention of Jesus saying that Moses' allege had to be fulfilled, but they really forgot that Jesus was God and that He He came to save what was lost.
Jesus is God and knew exactly what was inside them, so he wisely asks him the question of rigor: "And as they insisted on asking him, he straightened up and said to them: Let the one of you be without sin be the first to throw the stone against her".
Although they were hypocrites and open graves they knew very well what Jesus was saying and those words directly accused his conscience which determined to leave one by one leaving only Jesus and the accused woman.
¡If we knew the gift of God, his graciousness, mercy, and the great love he feels for his creation, we would never play any person, but rather we would fight to bring him closer to God's love and the salvation of his soul!.
Jesus did not condemn this woman and gave him the opportunity to regenerate his life, he said: go away and sin no more because Jesus is the light of the world. This woman did not have the light of the world who Jesus Christ was, she walked in darkness and that is why she sinned but when Jesus forgives her she loves and restores this woman changes her life because the light of Jesus came to shine in her.
When someone does not have Jesus in his heart and trapped in the darkness and cannot shine the light in them but Jesus came to give light and freedom to the prisoners and the blind.
